Kindergarten Play Day

Play day was on the last day of school, which was May 27, 2009. The classes rotated stations and ended the day with a popsicle. Here are some of the snaps I took:
"Wet Sponge Throw"
Here they are waiting for the "Soccer Course". I look over and one of her classmates is rubbing her shoulders. This went on after almost every station. The rest of the story on this will continue below:)
Someone must've had a great kick!
Kali sped around the cones before I could get my camera set up. Got the kick however and NO, she's NOT allowed to play soccer!
"Tug of War"... you can't tell in this picture but Kali is toward the end of the rope with all of the boys. They won! The next one was boys vs girls and the girls won!
"Sidewalk Chalk Art"

"Bubble Blowing"....and let me tell you, the bubbles SUCKED!

So this little guy has the biggest crush on Kali. At this point he wasn't having anymore of the other boy hanging around her. He went up to her and put his arms around her and kept saying, "You're my girl.......You're my girl!" Now, I haven't seen anyone at this age have such a huge crush...........since Kenneth was in kindergarten. He liked this one girl clear up until we had to move the summer of his 5th grade year!
When she had been having a rough day at school (missing her Bubba), Luke would hold her hand and walk her out to me.
Mrs. Zimmerman, Kali's teacher. We are gonna miss her!
