All blogged out.......

WHEW! That was enough for one night! Come back soon! I have holiday pictures to post.

Halloween

So I was suppose to make this clown costume, my own non-scary, non-traditional type clown costume, with a full skirt and corset. However, those plans changed while at boot camp graduation. While shopping for some of Kenneth's items needed he ran across a little Marine outfit. Yep, that was it....no more clown costume for me! Maybe next year.

Sophi got into the action as well, however she didn't want her picture taken.

OOPS! Next picture should be before this one. Well, you get the picture! HAHAHA

Celebrating Kenneth's graduation and Kayla's 21st birthday

Here we are in Los Angeles at Bubba Gumps, one of our favorite restaraunts celebrating a graduation and a birthday. They treated the two with ice cream a song and yes a dance. The kids had to dance, not the staff! Kayla's friend Drea (whom she met while living in CA) attended with us.

This is them either after or before dancing with each other!

After Boot Camp Adventure....

Just a few pictures of our adventures at Sea World and Universal Studios
Gosh, someone feed these kids....they're trying to eat Nemo!

Yes, he's my hero as well as Sea World's

The kids and I at Santa Monica on our way to get Kayla's hair cut

Kali and grandma at Bedrock, I mean Universal Studios

Kenneth was picked to be in a special effects show at Universal Studios

Marine Corps Boot Camp Graduation Day

The day we can take Kenneth home! Felt like forever, but we did it. Oh, the pictures are in the right order this time.

The line of sea bags waiting for graduated Marines to come get them and leave the base! Let me tell you, that's what the Marine's wanted too!

Parade of Colors: Marching onto the parade deck

Look at all of those graduates! Over 600 hundred Marines. Can you believe that many graduate every week? WOW! Kenneth is in the first platoon way down there. Can you find him? LOL

Look at my handsome boy.....I mean Marine! Love that kid!

Family Day: Part 2

Here's some more from family day: Yep, you guessed it, start at the bottom. Why change it now?

Kayla and her brother

Kali marching next to her Bubba. She didn't want to let go of him!

Marine Corps Boot Camp Graduation-Family Day

Today was the day we were looking forward to for a long time! My pictures are backwards so when you read this start at the bottom. Too lazy to delete them and start over!

This is Liberty Formation: they've showered and gotten into their uniforms and march out to the parade deck to get released. You can see him to the left/bottom of the flag.

Standing at attention and listening to the speaker

After the liberty run we move to a different area and the recruits finish their 5 mile run (I believe that's what it was), then they run into this spot we are standing in and we listen to a drill instructor for a bit then the recruits are released to go back to barracks and shower. This is him running to their assigned spot. Again, we got into the perfect spot!

Talk about lucky! We found our spot behind Kenneth's platoon number and waited for the moto run. I had to warn Kali if she by chance saw her brother NOT to run to him because he could still get into trouble. Well, here they came, the crowd is screaming, the tears are flowing and yep.........he stopped right in front of us! He's behind the guy in the middle row. We were crying and screaming that we loved him. Kali's trying to get somewhere where she could see his face, i'm sure it was hard for him but he did a great job focusing because we weren't making it easy!

Our first night in San Diego. Grandma was the only one Kali could talk into swimming!

Boise State Game

This year we were only able to attend one BSU game, but hey, it's better than none!

Kali turns 6.......

Kali turned 6 this past Sept. so yes, that means i'm behind on my blogging again! She had a great birthday, it stopped raining long enough for her to meet her friends at the park and play for a bit. We then went back home for a family dinner. I can't believe she's six already. Where does the time go?
